On November 26, according to the "Chinese Mainland Notebook online Retail Market Monthly Tracker" report released by Lotu Technology, in the third quarter of 2024, the sales volume of Chinese mainland online notebook market was 2.98 million units, down 10% year-on-year; Sales edged down 1% to 19.3 billion yuan.
According to the report, the average selling price in the online market reached 6,472 yuan in the third quarter, up about 11% year-on-year, and the number of brands on sale in the online market remained at 145 in recent quarters.
Among them, Lenovo (including Lenovo and ThinkPad), Asus (including Asus and ROG), HP and Mechanical Revolution four brands, in the sales and sales of two dimensions are ranked in the top four, accounting for a total of 67.6% of the market sales share, an increase of 4.7 percentage points over the same period last year.
It is worth noting that brands that focus on the gaming market do well. Asus, Mechanical Revolution and Rainbow games accounted for more than 75% of the sales, and sales and sales achieved positive growth.
Brands such as HP, Huawei, Xiaomi (including Xiaomi and Redmi), Honor and Apple mainly focus on the field of office notebooks.
According to the forecast, in the whole year of 2024, China's notebook online retail market sales volume will reach 10.9 million units, the decline narrowed to 14% compared with the first half of the year.
